Founder and CEO


Sonny Halili is regarded by many as the "Father of Commercial Analytics in the Philippines."​ With a remarkable career spanning over three decades, he has contributed significantly to the corporate landscape, collaborating with prestigious firms such as SGV, Andersen Consulting, Digital Equipment, Unisys, Informix, Oracle, and SAS. His diverse experience has encompassed engagements with clients across various sectors, including financial services, telecommunications, public administration, retail, manufacturing, gaming, and energy.

In the early 2000s, Sonny spearheaded the introduction of advanced analytics in the Philippines, pioneering its integration into business operations. His visionary approach resulted in a substantial surge in the adoption of analytics across industries, ultimately leading to a groundbreaking achievement in the mid-2000s—the establishment of the Philippines' first Analytics Center of Excellence, formed in partnership with academia. This initiative addressed the surging demand for data scientists, not only in the Philippines but also on a global scale, further solidifying Sonny's status as a trailblazer in the field.

Ricardo Balbido Jr.

Jun Balbido is a seasoned banker with more than 40 years of displaying a strong performance in well-respected regional banks. Previously, he was a member of the Board of Directors of Bankers Association of the Phils for two (2) terms specifically as the Chairman of the BAP Operations Committee. He also held the position of President and COO of the Dao Heng Bank, Inc. in 1998 and served in the same capacity at Philippine Veterans Bank in 2001 up to his retirement in 2013. He also worked for BPI Leasing Corporation, Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) and BPI Family bank where he led the successful transformation of the business into a sustainable, high performing unit with a strong reputation for employee engagement, customer focus and service.

Currently, Mr. Balbido serves as the Chairman of the Board of Silliman University, one ofthe most prestigious universities in Dumaguete City.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Balbido also took further studies for an M.B.A at the Ateneo de Manila University and attended an Advanced Bank Management Program at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

Professor Francisco delos Reyes

Prof. Francisco N. de los Reyes teaches at the undergraduate and graduate degree programs of the School of Statistics, UP Diliman. He started his career in academe and eventually expanded into the applications of statistics in other disciplines. His interests are in statistical process control, spatial statistics and biostatistics. Prof. de los Reyes was statistician for various clinical researches both in the pharmaceutical industry and academic/training institutions. He is currently a Measurement Science and Data Analytics practitioner and has been engaging enterprises in various industries.

Prof. de los Reyes also taught as lecturer in the MBA program of UP College of Business Administration, MS Remote Sensing (Digital Image and Spatial Data Analysis) at the UP Diliman College of Engineering, the MBA and MS Computational Finance programs of DLSU Graduate School of Business, the MA Communication program of Ateneo de Manila University and the BS Commerce Major in Economics program of St. Scholastica’s College Manila. He is the present Director for Undergraduate Studies at the School of Statistics, UP Diliman.


James Sattler

With vast experience in SAS analytics spanning a career of over 30 years, Dr. Satter is an expert in the field of analytics. His expertise has been gained in the government, pharmaceutical, banking and telecommunications industries. Some of his notable work involved clinical trials analysis for drug development in the pharmaceutical industry while he worked extensively in risk management and fraud detection for a large US Bank.

In addition to being a consultant, Dr. Sattler is a trainer for SAS foundation courses in the Philippines, Singapore and the Middle East. Dr. Sattler was also previously a university lecturer for the University of California in the course of SAS programming, in which he designed the curriculum.

Pavan Kumar Ghante

18+ years in industry, Pavan comes with rich experience as Risk and GRC professional along with strong sales and presales skills.
His expertise is to accelerate pipeline development, sales execution, and overall sales methodology development.
Pavan's experience cuts across areas like Information Security, Fraud Prevention, Internal Audit and Integrated Risk & Governance.
​He has extensive experience working across India, APAC and MENA markets.

Pavan has a Bachelor's degree in Commerce.


Thomas Kane

Tom boasts over 40 years of extensive experience in Law Enforcement and Security, covering diverse sectors such as Crisis Management, Risk Management, Intelligence, Physical Security, Supply Chain Security, Security Systems, and Investigations. Notably, he held the position of Director of Security, Global Operations, and Technology at Analog Devices Inc., where he oversaw all aspects of physical security. Additionally, he served as the Managing Director, Philippines for Pinkerton Asia Ltd., where he excelled in managing and conducting high-profile investigations involving criminal, fraud, and intellectual property rights.

An awardee of the U.S. Airman's Medal for Heroism in 1991, Tom holds degrees in Criminal Justice and Financial Management, and is a member of ASIS International and recognized within that body as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP). He sits on the Transport Asset Protection Association (TAPA) Asia Pacific and China (APAC) Board of Directors.


​Cesar Venadas

Cesar is a Senior Technology Executive with close to 40 years expertise in local and international program and project solution delivery. He served as Director of Technology Services for Optum Global Solutions. Responsible for overall management of technology services in the Philippines including strategy development and execution, financial forecasting and tracking, service delivery and customer/client satisfaction, and implementation of people agenda. He was IT Director with Sun Life of Canada, Philippines where he served as Head of Application Operations and Services for Sun Life's Asia Service Center (ASC) providing support for Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines. Prior to that, he was a Senior Executive at the Accenture Delivery Center in Manila, Philippines where he built his extensive experience in program and project management, including working with Accenture's multi-site delivery model involving different countries such as US, Australia, Singapore and India. He also served as Head of Health & Public Service (H&PS) Industry Group for Technology where he was responsible for all technology delivery for H&PS in the center including building strong industry capability, delivering high-quality and cost-efficient technology services to clients.


Santi Mersado

Santi is an HR expert, and a change management champion, with extensive 25 years of experience that includes Labor Relations, Training, Internal Communications and Organizational Development, mostly in multinational companies and some are in Regional leadership capacity, Asia in particular.

Santi is currently the Group HR and Admin Manager for a general contractor with AAAA rating and its group of companies, covering 5 businesses in construction, property development, aquafarming and food production industries. Also, as Development Dimensions International, Inc (DDI) certified international facilitator, he can run any of its training programs to any company, and country, to where DDI is also accredited.

Menchie Lagac

Ms. Lagac, a seasoned banking professional, began her career at International Corporate Bank, advancing from frontline operations to the Treasury Group. At United Coconut Planters Bank, she excelled in sales and marketing, later becoming Money Market Center Head.Her proficiency extended to managing securities trading and portfolio risks on the Local Fixed Income Trading Desk. In 2010, she played a vital role in Debt Capital Markets, contributing significantly during LTNCD issuances. As Treasurer at UCPB Savings Bank, she successfully balanced liquidity and profitability from 2013 to 2020. From 2020 to 2022, she led the Fund Management Unit in UCPB's Treasury Banking Books Division, ensuring accurate reserves computation and optimizing resource allocation. Ms. Lagac's career trajectory showcases expertise in diverse banking areas.

​Beyond her professional life, she is a devoted mother, approaching both financial strategies and parenthood with dedication and a commitment to excellence.

Rodrigo Reyes

Rudy has been working in the aviation industry for over 33 years, serving both the airline and logistics sides of the business before joining the International Air Transport Association (IATA), where his most recent position was Regional Manager - Airports, Passenger, Cargo & Security for the Asia Pacific region. Based in Singapore, he primarily drove the cargo agenda and pushed the industry towards digitization through the global electronic cargo (e-cargo) initiative, replacing paper documents with standardized electronic messages/formats to facilitate cargo movement. He likewise endorsed the adoption of global standards and best practices to raise efficiencies in the air cargo supply, through programs developed by IATA. Of the notable projects, he worked with relevant government authorities on introducing a Regulated Agent-Known Consignor regime to strengthen a State's cargo supply chain without impeding the flow of cargo. Additionally, he helped introduce the CEIV (Center of Excellence for Independent Validators) certification program, which addresses concerns on the proper handling of special cargo through standards adherence, proper training and infrastructure investment. Rudy has guested in many forums as a cargo resource speaker and was a member of many industry working groups/task forces on further introducing standards and innovation that can eventually help the air cargo industry.

Alfred Montemayor

Alfred spent 35 years working in the country's flag carrier, starting as an industrial engineer to becoming the lead responsible for the airline's ancillary revenues where he doubled the non-core revenues by creating and implementing innovative products using advanced technologies that unlocked the value of the airline's assets. Before his Ancillary Revenue stint, he spent 17 years in Information Technology managing operational and financial applications where he directed the implementation of big ticket IT projects from digital imaging, medical records, ERP systems, revenue accounting, crew scheduling and electronic flight bag. He is a subject matter specialist on the fields of airline ancillary revenue management, airport and flight operations, flight catering, crew scheduling, marketing and sales, and finance and accounting.
Alfred earned his Engineering Degree and MBA from De La Salle University

Gerry Lumba

Gerry has over 26 years of experience in the leadership and business development of integrated transportation solutions for major 3PL's and shippers. This includes the execution of successful business development strategies and the implementation of effective operational processes to control complex channels in logistics, drive revenue growth and optimize profitability. He’s had decades of experience in deploying transportation/distribution/service delivery best-in-class operations with deep domain expertise and knowledge across all modes of the transportation industry, including pricing, routing, dispatching and a solid understanding of transportation regulations. He worked for renowned shipping and logistics companies like Expeditors of Seattle where he worked for over 16 years, IJS Logistics, C-Net Logistics Phils. Inc; exclusive Agent of DAMCO A.P. Moeller Group & Maersk Line (TransGlobal- Consolidators Inc.-affiliate), Logistics Plus/ Transteam and had been the GM of several local logistics firms. Gerry is considered as “Mr. Congeniality “ in the logistics industry, bringing allied friends and colleagues across a variety of associations in the Logistics and Transportation Industry to ensure the collaboration and implementation of efficient solutions in the delivery of cargoes or consignments and address challenges head on.


Jose Albert Llamas

Jose Llamas has more than 30 years of relevant experience in Banking, Financial Services and Information Technology with extensive knowledge in managing business units and corporate operations. He is presently holding a regional post with Toyota Tsusho Corporation (Tokyo, Japan), in the automotive financing business for the East Africa and Southeast Asia Region since 2013.

He also has a strong business development and leadership experience, having become the First Vice President for Operations and Technology of Toyota Financial Services, Executive Vice President and COO for a local Toyota Dealership, Country Manager for Financial Services of Seimens Nixdorf Systems and Regional Manager for SPL Worldgroup Software. In addition, he also became Project Director for SAS Institute (Phils.) for technology projects in Globe Telecom and GSIS.

Prior to these, Mr. Llamas worked for the following banks: Citibank, Citifinancials, Asia United Bank, Bank of the Philippine Islands and BA Finance Corp (An Affiliate Bank of America).

Jose Llamas graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Management Engineering from De La Salle University and obtained his M.B.A in Business Administration from the De La Salle University.


Ron Alvarez

Ron has more than 15 years of solid experience the logistics industry. This includes Import and Export where he specialized in sales and operations in Freight Forwarding and Customs Clearance and Brokerage Service. This expertise was acquired during his role as a Cargo Sales Executive at U-Freight Philippines Inc., former handlers of the FEDEX franchise in the Philippines. Because of his exemplary interaction with various carriers, Eva Airways, Taipei’s National Carrier, took notice of Ron and appointed him as their Senior Cargo Traffic Officer. His functions included Sales and Pricing for cargo belly space for Commercial planes in addition to running an EVA Air Freighter service and an All-Cargo Aircraft, to increase uplifting capacity. He works closely with various Logistics providers booking shipments with several types of configuration in odd shapes, sizes and weight. This enabled him to build an excellent network with Logistics Services Providers.


Ernesto Espinosa

Ernesto Espinosa has been offering more than twenty-five years of HR Management experience and background of repeated success implementing best practices and building successful HR Departments from the ground up. He also has an excellent network in both domestic and international HR arenas.

He was former President of World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA), Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM), People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) and was awarded the prestigious PMAP People Manager of the Year Awardee in 2006.

He was also former Vice President, HR Management Sector of Energy Development Corporation and former Vice President, HR and General Affairs of Fujitsu Computer Products Corporation of the Philippines.

Currently, Ernie is the Founder and President, Human Resource Gabay Asia Pacific, Inc.

Ernesto took his M.B.A from the De La Salle University. He is also a Certified Professional in Computer Applications in Human Resource Management at the Cornell University, USA


​Ajay Adanike

Ajay Adikane is a co-founder of Inoventik, a data analytics firm specializing in providing business insights and strategies by leveraging on data.

Prior to founding Inoventik, he was Senior Vice President at Bank of America Merrill Lynch responsible for driving transformation and increasing clients’ wallet share. A Banking and Digital transformation leader with more than 25 years of leading and developing transformation initiatives, participating in the digital strategies for a leading US Bank and one of the fortune 500 FMCG company.

He has vast experience in running, conceptualizing and implementing digital factories, centers of excellence, Mobile offices and a complete end-to-end digital enablement road-map. He conceptualized and implemented various IP Solutions / Products with niche business value propositions and a very high ROI in the cash management area using innovative digital footprints.

Ajay holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh USA and Bachelor of Technology in Electronic and Communication from National Institute of Technology – Calicut, India.


Professor Jeffry Tejada

Prof. Jeffry Tejada is an Associate Professor of Statistics at University of the Philippines (UP). His research interests focus on Mathematical Theory, Statistical Analyses, Data Mining, Econometric Modeling, Research Methodology, Database Management, Statistical Computing, Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Currently, he is the Director for Statistical Computing Laboratories of UP and has been engaging with different committees in Student Admissions, Graduate and Academic Personnel while also taking up his PhD in Statistics and Economics.
Professor Tejada provides Consulting Services and Technical Assistance on Data Exploration and Statistical Analysis, Business Analytics and Data Mining Applications. He has given deep insights for the improvement of product and component forecasting models to various industries like banking, retail, telecommunications, public sector, gaming, energy, education, food and manufacturing.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Statistics and obtained his MSci in the School of Statistics at the University of the Philippines.

Valente Garin

Over twenty-five years of technology and leadership experience spearheading operational and strategic initiatives in a large retail organization. As Head of the IT Division, was responsible for successfully rolling out critical projects that achieved 20 % increase in top line revenue and cost savings of 40%.

He is credited to having Introduced business analytics and established new operations model to ensure consistent and reliable systems availability for clients. He is a proven people manager with a track record of managing A 65-member team, their engagements and professional development.

Honed technical expertise and gained deep understanding of the IT industry in the areas of design and implementation of business analytics and visualization, data management, integration and transformation, retail intelligence solutions, hadoop and big data.


Mike Singh

Mike Singh is a veteran Chief Marketer in the retail space with a unique combination of strategic marketing, branding, and advertising, as well as the increasingly important big data and analytics, customer segmentation and targetting, and campaign ideation and execution.

Mike held senior positions in the consumer finance and retail arms of HSBC Plc both in the US and in international markets handling HSBC client consumer portfolios of Fortune 500 companies w/ over $7B in assets/receivables. He recently held a senior positon in RCBC reporting to the President where he played a critical role in their branding strategy during a period of crisis, in their build of big data across the Yuchengco conglomerate, in their retail sales force development (w/ a concentration on increasing customer share of wallet), and in expanding and enhancing their retail product, channels (including digital), and promotion.

Mike took his MBA at the Kellogg School of Management w/ a concentration in Marketing, Strategy, & Entrepreneurship.
